MediCrest Home Care’s goal is to provide quality home care service that is timely and responsive that helps to eliminate the need for nursing homes and re-hospitalizations.  Our in-home care services include caring for individuals recovering from an illness or surgery, the elderly, clients with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses.  Ultimately, our in-home service is geared towards helping individuals attain optimum well-being through quality care and safety so that they can not only stay independent, but remain in their homes as long as possible.

MediCrest Home Care’s roster is comprised of Registered Nurses (“RNs”) and Licensed Practical Nurses (“LPNs”) who provide skilled home healthcare service that requires the authorization from your doctor. Skilled nursing visits can be done hourly or by the visit.  Certified Nurses Aides (“CNAs”) and Personal Care Aides (“PCAs”) provide non medical home care services (do not require a doctor’s authorization) and are supervised by our RNs and LPNs.  Non-medical (personal care and companion /sitter) home care services are provided for a minimum of four (4) hours a day or for as many hours as you need   Both our non-medical and/or skilled in-home care service can begin within a few hours after you contact us.

All our employees are bonded and insured, randomly drug-tested and must pass a background check to include verifiable job references and a criminal background check.   Additionally, we go further by checking the records of our caregivers  on the Georgia Nursing Registry and the Office of the Inspector General (“OIG”) on a monthly basis to ensure their continued integrity.  We endeavor to hire only those caregivers who exerienced, professional, reliable and share our passion for caring.

Accountability —  MediCrest Home Care uses a state of the art telephony system that monitors punctuality and absence of our home care team.   Another great features of this system is that it is integrated into our billing software to ensure that each client is billed ONLY for the time that services were actually rendered. Telephony works by requiring each caregiver to call in and out from the client’s residence using a unique pass code.   Further, our Care Managers conduct periodic unscheduled assurance checks to each client’s home to ensure the plan of care is being followed and that care is being provided according to MediCrest Home Care’s standard.

Respite Care – We can provide relief in-home care services when the permanent caregiver needs to take a break from caring for your loved one.   Respite care is often used when the primary caregiver is a family member.  Our Respite Care home service provides you peace of mind by providing you with an experienced, compassionate caregiver so you can feel comfortable running an errand, taking a much-needed vacation or just having some “alone time”.

Assisted Living Facility – -MediCrest Home Care provides care in assisted living facilities when more assistance is needed than the facility can provide.
